Grade checks and commentary

1.28.12		The third six week file has been updated, although you can see that there are still a few grades to enter, and that one of those if the unit VI online tests for some of you. My concern is that only a couple of you have contacted me regarding the grading period into which you wish to put your Sophie's and Ren art. See the deadline below.

1.26.12		I have graded a few more items to try to get you a better picture of this final six week grade in the hopes that it will help you decide into which grading period(s) you will want me to enter your Renaissance Art project and your Sophie's World. There are still some grades to be finished up and entered - portfolios units VII/VII, posters, research papers...actually I will include your third six week progress also. I want to double-check on my home computer for more Unit VI Test participation, because based on what I currently have only about half of you took that test, and that surprises me. When I entered all those zeros for that test, it dramatically dropped several grades. Your back up is that you emailed it to yourself also - the system gives that option. Hopefully your diligence in completing all the assignments that have not been entered yet, will balance this poor decision out to something less shocking. It will take me through the weekend to completely finish, including your finals and those essays. I have included here a copy of the current multi-grade gradesheet. You need to examine it and inform me in which grading period you want me to add your Ren Art and Sophie's into. It does not have to be the same grading period for both. You may send that info here through the wikispace, or to the new class email address. With the exception of our student who added in late, everyone, including people who got zeros, must make this decision. You must do this by Saturday 5PM. No exceptions.
